What Happened
After the Show: Freddie and Jessica
 The
Situation Then: Jessica and Freddie first appeared
on the previous show, “Wives Confront Their Husbands
About Being Horrible Dads” on October 28, 2004.
Jessica was frustrated with Freddie’s refusal to
help with the kids or the housework. His expectations
for Jessica included having dinner on the table and a
clean house awaiting him every day upon his return from
work. In Freddie’s mind, his demands were justified
because he works hard all day and needs to relax while
at home. What Freddie didn’t realize was that Jessica
was working just as hard and needed more contribution
on his end to run the household effectively. The Situation Now: Jessica
and Freddie returned to the show with happy news:
Freddie has turned a new leaf. When Larry arranged
for Jessica to have a spa day, Freddie was forced
to step into her shoes for a day and play “Mr.
Mom.” While Jessica was pampered and preened,
Freddie learned just how tough it can be to stay
at home with the kids. He now has a better understanding
and appreciation for her responsibilities. Though
formerly at the brink of divorce, they now say their
marriage is better than ever. Freddie has been helping
the kids with homework, taking them to school and
doing kitchen work. Jessica says his efforts mean
a lot and she is looking forward to what the future
brings.
