“Was
This Marriage a Mistake?
Is marriage still considered sacred in our society?
Not if you look at the short-lived marriages of stars
like Britney Spears, Drew Barrymore and Shannen Doherty.
It seems that “’Til Death Do Us Part” is
relative for many married couples, including today’s
guests who are trying to work out their troubled
marriages:
After a 55-hour marriage
to pop queen Britney Spears, Jason Alexander knows
a thing or two
about why impulsive marriages aren’t the
best idea. A New Year’s Eve trip to Vegas
in 2004 saw sparks fly between Britney and Jason
and prompted a trip to a local wedding chapel.
The Spears family quickly quashed the romance
with an annulment.
Jason spoke candidly to Larry about how he now
views the marriage as a mistake and why he is
hurt by her engagement to dancer Kevin Federline.
He also revealed previously unreleased details
about her proposal – click here to see
the clip.

Ben and Olivia are a couple in their twenties
who married when Olivia became pregnant with
the first of their three children. While Ben
was initially drawn to Olivia’s ambition,
he now laments that Olivia had to abandon her
dreams of becoming a lawyer to be a mother.
Ben, who is the breadwinner of the family,
accuses
Olivia of being lazy despite her full-time
job of taking care of the house and the kids,
but
Olivia says Ben is being selfish and uncooperative
by going out all of the time and not pitching
in.
